HEALINGS FOR PETS
I have had a great love for animals since I was a child. Growing up on a farm I have always been surrounded by animals, communicating with them and caring for them. Animals are highly sensitive and intuitive and I have found that they are strongly attracted to Reiki and other healing energy. They choose to be around it and love to receive it. Reiki can be given hands on or from a distance with powerful healing results! You should choose whichever is easiest for you and your pet, and whichever you are both most comfortable with.
I have a wonderful dog called Maxxi who developed a chip of bone inside is front wrist joint that was causing him great pain and a terrible limp. He was only a year old at the time and so I was concerned to act quickly with the best treatment to help him recover and resume his active life. If it wasn't for Reiki I would have taken Maxxi to have the chip surgically removed which would not only have been terribly expensive, but also painful for him and he may still have had ongoing problems from scarring and disruption to his joint from the surgery. I gave Reiki to Maxxi regularly and he made a full recovery over one month! He runs and plays everyday!

In May 2009 my much loved six year old Irish Terrier dog, Bluey, was
diagnosed by our vet with a tumour in his foot that needed to be
surgically removed.
The operation successfully removed the tumour, however, the healing
process was compromised by poor circulation. In addition as his leg
was painful, Bluey avoided weight bearing which further limited his
healing.
As a consequence of all these factors Bluey developed an infection
which resulted in a large area of his foot necrotising/rotting. Two
weeks after surgery, we were told by the vet that there was an 80%
probability that the limb would require amputation.
At this point in time, by chance, whilst walking Bluey and my two
other dogs on a nearby oval I met Priscilla and her dog Max.
Priscilla was open and friendly and enquired about Bluey's bandaged
foot. I relayed the long, sad story and I was struck by Prisilla's
compassion. Priscilla spontaneously offered to provide Reiki healing
for Bluey and I remember being struck by her care and gentleness as
she calmly worked on him.
As we parted Priscilla offered to provide distant Reiki healing as a
follow up.
Miraculously, the next morning, Bluey walked on his foot for the first
time in two weeks. The following day I took him to the vet for
another bandage change at which the treating vet was amazed and
incredulous at his improvement.
The vet indicated it was highly unusual, at this late stage to see
such a dramatic improvement and that it offered the opportunity to
delay amputation.
Priscilla continued over the next month to continue distant Reiki on
Bluey as well as Reiki through our incidental contact at the oval.
One month later, Bluey had his final bandage removed and has happily
retained all four legs with only a partial loss of sensation to a
discrete area on his foot.
Priscilla was the turning point in Bluey's recovery. Her belief in
Bluey's ability to heal and her generosity in providing Reiki meant
his leg could be saved. On the strength of our very positive
experience I believe Priscilla is a gifted Reiki healer and I commend
her to you.
