Happy Lunar New Year! Saturday 10th of February is the Lunar New Year, and the beginning of the Chinese year of the Wood Dragon.  Celebrations last 16 days.
Dragon is very auspicious in Chinese culture.  It symbolises power, honour, wisdom, luck, success and prosperity.  The wood element connects to growth, creativity and prosperity.
And so 2024 is a year full of potential and opportunities for personal growth, professional success, innovation, creativity and abundance.  This energy is ideal if you are wanting to create positive change for yourself, your life and for our planet.
In Chinese culture there are many beliefs about how to improve your good fortune.  Each zodiac sign has lucky colours to wear and lucky crystals or gems specifically for year of the wood dragon.
The overall lucky colour for this year of the Wood Dragon is green, and the crystal is Aventurine.
