So many clients I have seen lately are under a lot of stress. There are always so many things to do, so many things fighting for our attention and energy. It is hard to stay focussed, balanced and peaceful with all of this going on. To me, the answer in managing all of this, is getting back to basics. Remembering basic things that help to keep YOU calm and centered.
Breathe! We totally forget to breathe sometimes when we are stressed. And simple things such as getting outside to exercise, taking even a few minutes to meditate, praying rather than worrying. I think that the most powerful techniques are the simple ones - the ones we can do every day to keep ourselves on track.

Crystals are physical beings with energetic vibrations. They are, of course, less complex than us, but that simplicity results in them holding a particular pure vibration, which is what makes them such excellent healing tools!
Crystals radiate positive, healing energy and they absorb our negative energy. Because of this they need regular cleansing and recharging. There are many ways to cleanse and charge your crystals, but I'd like to share with you my favourite way....
I like to firstly cleanse them by holding them under running water - while holding the intention of their energy being cleansed and recharge. While doing this I like to picture that there is white light streaming through them, cleansing and recharging them. I then place them out in the sun. I like to do this when there is a full moon, so the crystals get a sun-bake and then soak in some moonlight overnight. I collect them up the next day. To me this process recharges them in a lovely yin-yang way - with sun and moon energies.
I really notice how much more they sparkle after this process, and of course their energies are beautifully recharged!
