Having negative thoughts about ourselves, and being self-critical, has very real effects. During Healings, I can feel this self-critical energy as harsh and painful energy, and see it as blackness in the aura.
For some of us, learning to love and appreciate ourselves is a life-lesson, but, step by step, we can bring this into our way of being.
Firstly, give your mind something productive to do. Left to it's own devices, our thoughts can run their self-destructive pattern. Since the mind loves to have something to occupy itself with, give it the job of noticing your negative thoughts about yourself, others, or your life. Your mind's job then, is to cancel that thought, and replace it with the most positive and loving thought it can. This will likely take some practice, but you will feel the benefits of it each step of the way, as you will have more energy, and more belief in yourself.
Sometimes we might struggle to come up with any positive thoughts about ourselves. And that is when it is time to lean on our Divine Helpers. We can "borrow" the perspective of our loving Helpers, and ask that we may see ourselves as they do - as blessed, Divine Beings.
And sometimes it is time to reach out for help, such as a Healing Session to help lift your frequencies and release us from negative patterns we can find ourselves stuck in.
