Your relationship with yourself is the longest and most significant relationship you have in your life.
Is it a good one?
Are you one of those "fair weather friends"... there in the good times, but ditching yourself when things get hard?
A lot of times we don't even realise we have "checked out"... we'll be "busy", distract ourselves with all sorts of things - social media, work, food, other addictive or compulsive behaviours.
I don't think we really mean to ditch ourselves when the going gets tough, it's just that we find it hard to deal with the emotions... we don't know what to do - and it feels more comfortable temporarily to desert that part of ourselves. However it does mean that we end up with a lot of emotions we are just not dealing with, a lot of unresolved "stuff", and we can end up just carrying that around with us.
What if you were really there, really present for yourself... supportive, loving, compassionate, PRESENT!?
I believe that if we have the tools to help us deal with our emotions in a more positive, loving and gentle way, we really could be our own best friend, our best ally!
So this is exactly what I'll be focussing on at my One Day Retreat on Saturday the 18th November.
Jozay Longden; Clinical Psychologist, Julian Silburn; Sound Healer, and myself will be guiding you in how to be present, be mindful, and being aware of and supporting yourself through emotional states.
I'll be focusing on the using Essential Oils for this - as I find them to be absolutely amazing for emotional support and transformation.
